June Prayer Prompts
Wk 1. We will find no rest for our heart or spirit as long as we seek it in insignificant things, which cannot satisfy us, rather than in God, who is omnipotent, omniscient and beneficent.
Wk 2. Our Lord desires that our spirit be truly turned to gaze upon him and upon all his glorious creation, for it is exceedingly good. All his judgements are sweet and comforting and bring our spirit to rest.
Wk 3. God wants us to be enfolded in repose and peace. Only then hall Christ’s spiritual thirst be satisfied. This is his thirst: a desire to love us. That love shall continue until the last day, when we shall be completely gathered into his joy and happiness.
Wk 4. Christ Jesus is both human and divine. Because he is divine, he is supreme happiness. So he was from the beginning and so shall be until the ending. This happiness can neither increase nor diminish.
